(NYT8) ATLANTA -- Dec. 26, 2007 -- HIGH-SCHOOL-TRAINERS-2 -- Grant Peacock, a sports physical therapist, puts a shoulder harness on Jarvis Reid of Tucker High School before a game at Adams Stadium in Atlanta in November 2007. Parents of high school athletes around the country have been clamoring to add certified athletic trainers to playing fields and practice sessions to address injuries like concussions. A handful of the schools have entered into novel, even unorthodox, arrangements with local hospitals, which provide trainers at a reduced cost in return for a school-based marketing campaign.
