(NYT) ONIBURY, England -- Dec. 12, 2007 -- ESTATE-INHERIT-7 -- The Upstatirs Young Ladies Sitting Room with seats on either side of the fireplace at Stokesay Court which was used as the room of a character in the film "Atonement" played by Keira Knighty, seen in December, 2007. The gargantuan country home, built in 1891 in the so-called Jacobethan style, was inherited by Caroline Magnus from her aunt and is the rich backdrop for the first half of "Atonement," the new Joe Wright movie version of Ian McEwan?s novel, starring Keira Knightley and James McAvoy.
