(NYT14) WASHINGTON -- Feb. 5, 2001 -- PARDON-B&W -- Almon Glenn Braswell, a 57-year-old owner of a mail-order vitamin and health-supplements business, was one of the 140 people pardoned last month by President Clinton. However Braswell is being investigated for new potential felonies. Some Justice Department officials are concerned that the president's broadly worded order may hamper their inquiry.
