(NYT18) NEW YORK -- Feb. 12, 2001 -- DOG-WESTMINSTER-2 -- Emotion is nothing to be ashamed of at the 125th annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York. It is one of those classic events that has organizers who have not sought to jazz up its competition by promising a smash-muzzle show. It is a loud affair, but not crude. Fans howl and holler for their favorites among 2,590 entrants, as they watch from outside the eight show rings or from seats around Madison Square Garden. Terence R.
