(NYT14) WASHINGTON -- Feb. 9, 2001 -- NJ-DEMS-FUNDRAISING -- Federal investigators have uncovered evidence that the chief fund-raiser for democratic Sen. Robert c, solicited illegal campaign contributions from two fugitive businessmen who were involved in investment frauds in the United States and Europe, people familiar with the case said. According to accounts pieced together by investigators, the fund-raiser, Adam C.
