(NYT15) NEW YORK -- Feb. 8, 2001 -- AT-THE-MOVIES -- Yesim Ustaoglu was studying to become an architect at a Turkish technical university when the passion struck her. "I decided when I was a student to make movies also," says the soft-spoken Ustaoglu, 39. Ustaoglu's second feature, "Journey to the Sun," is a blend of the political, the personal and the hauntingly beautiful. It opens commercially Friday. Ustaoglu, during a recent visit to New York.
