SAND-tastic fun! A meerkat flings sand into another member of the mob standing a little too close behind. The messy mongooses were spotted digging by their burrow in Kalahari Trails Meerkat Sanctuary, Botswana. Anette Mossbacher said, “The adorable little meerkats are constantly searching for food, running from one place to another and digging for bugs and scorpions. As I sat on the ground, they even climbed over me.” “These meerkats are all orphans and are being raised to adulthood as a part of their group. Running from one place to the other digging for bugs, scorpions. 3. Were you waiting for a while and did they mind your presence? I was sitting on the ground, they even climb on me or over me. My presence did not bother them at all. No, they even took me into their gang as a member. When they pee on you you are accepted. :D 5. What is your favourite thing about the shots? I love the image when the little meerkat gets the sand thrown on its chest. 6. Any other info we may like to know?
