Mediterranean Sea, October 18th, 2017 Hasna, 27 years old, in the "shelter" of the Aquarius during an awareness session with the midwife of Medecins Sans Fronticres. Hasna is Maroccan and had left her country two years ago following the economic crisis. She went to find fortune in Lybia with her childhood friend Rajaa. "But, in Lybia, there is no life : militias make life impossible to people We can't go buying some bred without being arrested and getting robbed some money, they can kill you for nothing. In addition, I was working as hairdresser and I earned very few. We had escaped murder but we have seen so many people getting shot in front of our eyes. There were explosions everywhere, somtimes we didn't eat for two day, you don't know if you're gonna live or not, so you don't care about anything... We just wanted to have a simple life, without being afraid of dying every night. So we decided to take the boat. Everybody talk about these boats... We got into it. We saw this mother with her two daughters. I cried, because they are boats of death... But if she leave, even with her little girls, if we are gone, if I left my 6-year-old daughter and left her to my mother, it's because we don't have other choice... We leave our families, our country, everything. Because life over there is just not possible anymore..." Hasna est marocaine et a quitte son pays il y a deux ans suite r la crise economique. Elle est allee chercher fortune en Libye avec son amie d'enfance Rajaa. "Mais en Libye il n'y a aucune vie : les milices rendent la vie impossible aux gens. On ne peut pas aller acheter du pain sans etre arretees et se faire voler de l'argent, ils peuvent te tuer pour rien. En plus je travaillais comme coiffeuse et je gagnais trcs peu.
