Story from Jam Press (Postie Road Rage) Pictured: The two men fight. VIDEO: Postman spat! Postie in road rage brawl with another driver in ugly clash in busy street A postman was involved in a road rage brawl with another driver in an ugly clash in a busy street. A thug - dressed in black shorts and a T-shirt - was seen grabbing him by the neck. The postie - in his red uniform - tried to defend himself as he was shoved into the open driver's side door of his Royal Mail van. The pair continue to grapple as a stunned passenger in a van watched on. The post van had been travelling in front of the other man’s vehicle. They had been in a verbal exchange before the physical altercation. The man clad in black then can be heard saying: “I was sitting behind you. “You give it all the f*cking big ones.” The 21-second video then comes to an end as the postman is shoved into the van. It happened yesterday (2 Sept) afternoon on Leytonstone High Street, Leytonstone, east London. Locals reacted with shock, as reported on NeedToKnow.Liv Little fumed: “Why is the guy filming and not helping?” One said: “Why did no one step in to help the postie?” Another added: “And nobody intervenes, I see. “It would have been almost unthinkable back in the 90’s to see such scenes unfold without members of the public coming to the rescue.” Andy Horn quipped: “The price of first class stamps takes the piss though.” Another added: “Look at them. “That’s why my package keeps delaying.” Bradley joked: “For context, he paid for a special delivery and it turned up after 1pm.” A Royal Mail spokesperson said: “This was a shocking attack and we condemn any form of physical or verbal abuse against our colleagues. “The incident has been reported to the Metropolitan Police and we urge anyone with any information to contact them.” The Met Police has been approached for comment. ENDS EDITOR'S NOTES: The numberplate shown during the video is
