Portion of the farside of the moon looking NNW toward the Mare Moscoviense on the horizon. The most conspicuous lunar feature is the smooth-floored Kohlschutter Crater at the upper center of the photograph. About two-thirds of the smaller crater Mills is visible at bottom right. The craters Nagaoka and Konstantinov are visible near the horizon. The Gamma Ray Spectrometer protrudes into the picture at right. Taken from Apollo 16 Service Module.
