Transmission electron micrograph of portions of two hepatic cells and the intervening bile canaliculus from rat liver. There are two stacks of Golgi cisternae in the vicinity of the bile canaliculus. Small vacuoles at the secretory face of both contain multiple very low density lipoprotein particles.
