Eloise Dyer and Tatiana Rose Dyer leap into the aqua springs of Ngare Ndare, which means “waterfall of the Gods” in Maa, on September 6, 2023. The Ngare Ndare Forest Reserve is an indigenous forest at the foot of Mt. Kenya and only a few hours on horseback from Borana Conservancy.
Horseback safaris allow you to journey slowly and more fully immerse yourself in the ecosystem you’re exploring. The concept of the horseback safari originated in Kenya back in the 1970s and has since expanded to a number of conservancies across the African continent. Since wildlife perceives horses as just another animal you can fly under the radar and experience one-of-a-kind close-up encounters from a horse-eye view.
