Procession in honor of San Nicola, patron saint of fishermen, in Messina, Italy, August 11, 2024. Every year the statue of the Saint is decorated with votive offerings depicting swordfish and other fish and carried in procession through the streets of the seaside village of Ganzirri. The procession is completed with the crossing of the lake of the seaside village of Ganzirri, the statue of the saint is carried on a main boat and followed in procession by the residents' boats.
