Corporation Industrial Union of Donbas (IUD) has not made any agreements with Interpipe corporation on understating the value of 76% of the stock of Khartsyzsk pipe plant (KhPP) put up for sale, Serhiy Taruta has declared at UNIAN. On August 27 the IUD was determined as winner in a tender on sale of the KhPP's majority stake. The KhPP is one of the largest producers of large diameter steel welded 500-ranged pipes in Ukraine and only one of large diameter steel welded corrosion-resistant pipes in the CIS. The corporation has offered UAH 126 million with a start-up price amounting to UAH 122,695,000. There were 4 runners of tender, but two of them were rejected as no-meeting the tender requirements, the third offered the price almost equal to the start one. Mr Taruta said IUD would participate in the quarter-stake sale competition of Azovstal Ltd. (UAH 793,555,570 of authorized capital).
