PHOTO: EAST NEWS/REX FEATURES Prince Charles - during the visit the Prince toured the multi million pound college and chatted with the new intake of police probationers, and was also introduced to local dignitaries Prince Charles shook hands with the long arm of the law when he opened a new police training centre in Fife, Scotland yesterday (Sept 23). The Prince, who wore a kilt and sporran for the occasion, was greeted by David Garbutt, Director of the Scottish Police College which provides training facilities for new police recruits. During the visit the Prince was given a guided tour of the multi-million pound centre, which includes mock-ups of potential crime scenes such as a bank, a bar and a post office. He chatted with the new intake of police probationers, and was also introduced to local dignitaries.
