Bill Coperthwaite's third-story bedroom in the library yurt, where he lived when he was alive, at Dickinson's Reach in Machiasport, Maine, on Saturday, May 26th, 2018. His yurt has been left almost exactly the way it was the last time he walked out of it. Coperthwaite lived off the grid on this 700-acre property for 55 years. Fellows now live in this yurt during their residencies.
