Jan Paweł II - archiwalia
Pope John Paul II presides 09 July 2000 over the holy mass on the atrium of Rome's Regina Coeli prison, the capital's historic men's jail on the River Tiber. In his homily, the Pope repeated his call for a gesture of clemency for the world's prisoners to coincide with the Holy Year. The Pope also strongly condemned, during his Sunday Angelus, a gay rights march in Rome as an offence to Christian values and said the Catholic Church considered homosexual acts against natural law.
