Hubert Ardillon (standing C), the captain of the French supertanker Limburg which was crippled by an explosion off the Yemeni coast earlier this week, briefs his crew on the latest developments at a hotel in the southeastern Yemeni port of al-Mukallah 09 October 2002. As French and US experts joined investigations into the exact causes of the attack, the captain insisted that the explosion was not an accident. "A member of the crew told me he saw a small boat approach and I believe him," Ardillon told reporters yesterday. (Film) AFP PHOTO/Khaled FAZAA
