Comparison between a healthy ankle and a ankle affected by hemophilic arthropathy (hemarthrosis) in sagittal section. - 1 : at the two extremities at the front and at the back of the tibia there are two osteophytes - 2 : at the level of the articulation tibia and astragalus, we have a diffuse pinch of the line space with a degradation of the cartilage - 3 : on the articular side of the tibia, we have a subchondral geode (hole) - 4 : between the astragalus and the calcaneum there is an enlargement of the sinus of the tarsus - 5 : at the level of the posterior part of the tibia and the astragalus, we can find an epiphyseal hypertrophy.
