St. Martin's Hospitality Center outreach helped Richard Tarango and Margaret Santistevan find stable housing. Published Caption: Not long ago, Richard Tarango and Margaret Santistevan had good jobs and were paying off a mortgage for a house. But his mother, who lived with them, began taking the money they earned and gambling with it at the casino. They were no longer able to make mortgage payments and one day the sheriff came and gave them 45 minutes to clear out their personal things. Margaret said that she didn't have time to save everything, including photo albums of her kids before they grew up.
