FASCINATING footage telling the story of America???s first black airmen, known as the Tuskegee airmen, has resurfaced this week on what is the anniversary of their 99th Pursuit Squadron being activated by the U.S. Army Air Corps. The video shows an Air Corps Commander giving a speech to a new batch of recruits, explaining the importance of the Tuskegee Airmen. This is followed by testimonies from some of the original Tuskegee???s, who tell of their experiences of joining and serving in the air corps under the pressure of segregation. mediadrumworld.com
