(NYT19) ROVANIOEMI, Finland -- Feb. 24, 2004 --ADV. FOR SUN. FEB. 29 -- SNOW-SCULPTURE-3 -- There is not much to do in Finland's Lapland in winter. But an unusual outdoor art exhibition called "The Snow Show" has briefly added Kemi, a port city at the northern end of the frozen Gulf of Bothnia, and Rovaniemi, gateway to Santa Claus Village, to the circuit of destinations for adventurous art tourists eager to brave subzero temperatures. A frozen pond by Lebbeus Woods and Kiki Smith in Rovaniemi, Feb. 2004. (Tony Cenicola/The New York Times)
