Peter Price a photographer who worked for Fleet Street newspapers at the time, recalls being sent to Capel Celyn to photograph the village and its people before they started to be evacuated ready for the flooding. He took a huge amount of pictures at the time and they were published around the world over several months during the removal of the residents, however these pictures in particular never saw the light of day in any of the papers.
