Defendant Gudrun Ensslin with her lawyer Otto Schily at Frankfurt district court on the 14th of October in 1968 during the shopping mall arsonist legal proceedings on the 31st of October in 1968. The 28 year old student of German studies is found guilty of arson with danger for people. As well her accomplices Thorwald Proll and Andreas Baader, who received the same sentence, were accused of having started a fire in two shopping malls in Frankfurt in the night to the 3rd of April in 1968. The damage was over two million mark.
