Former Polish PM Donald Tusk is seen at a rally in support of broadcaster TVN in Warsaw, Poland on August 10, 2021. Over a thousand people gathered in front of the Sejm, the Polish parliament to protest a law proposal that would ban foreign ownership of media entities. In this case people came out to support the American owned TVN broadcaster whose license will expire in September. The government has indicated it will not renew the license under the current ownership structure, a move critics say could mean the end of independen media in Poland.
