People pass a huge photograph composed of thousands of Brazilian soldiers photographed from above by Polish photographer Piotr Uklanski to show Pope John Paul II's profile, which was unveiled 16 March 2005 in central Warsaw, capital of the pope's native Poland. The work was on show opposite Warsaw's imposing Stalin-era Cultural Palace, on the site of the proposed Polish museum of modern art. Its showing in Warsaw marked the signature of an accord between Culture Minister Waldemar Dabrowski and the capital's city hall to build a modern art museum in Warsaw.
