French academy member, Simone Veil(C) French-Belgian writer Francois Weyergans poses in his new habit vert or green habit for his official entry ceremony as member of the prestigious Academie Francaise (French Academy), the body which has the task of acting as an official authority on the French language at the Institut de France in Paris. Weyergans, 69, joined the "immortals", as the 40 members of the Academie are known. Dressed in the members' traditional green uniform, designed specially for her by Agnes b, Weyergans was presented with Maurice B*jart's former ceremonial sword.
