PHOTO: EAST NEWS START RAKIETY ZENIT, KTORA MA WYNIESC NA ORBITE SATELITE ICO F-1, PLATFORMA SEA LAUNCH NA OCEANIE SPOKOJNYM BLISKO EKWADORU The Zenith rocket lifts off from its floating platform, called Sea Launch, close to the Equator in the Pacific Ocean 12 March 2000 carrying the 2.7-tonne ICO F-1 satellite, which was to be part of the ICO Global Communications system. The satellite failed to reach orbit and was diverted from its intended trajectory, Russian flight control reported 12 March 2000.
