(FILES) This September 11, 2001 file photo shows Marcy Borders covered in dust as she takes refuge in an office building after one of the World Trade Center towers collapsed when commercial planes crashed into them in New York. Marcy Borders, a survivor of the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York who was featured in one of the most iconic photographs of the event, has died of stomach cancer on August 25, 2015. She was 42. After the attacks, Borders spiraled into a decade-long deep depression and alcohol and drug abuse, though she eventually recovered after several years. AFP PHOTO / Stan HONDA/FILES
