The award means that he follows in the footsteps of other such movie greats as Al Pacino, Harrison Ford, Meryl Streep and, of course, his own dad Kirk. The star of such film classics as 'Fatal Attraction', 'Wall Street' and 'Basic Instinct', Douglas has also been at the producing helm of a stream of other smash Hollywood hits - including the five-time Oscar-winning 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest' - and arguably has become an even bigger name in the industry than his father. He confirmed the rumours that he intends to reunite with director Oliver Stone for a sequel to the 1987 film 'Wall Street', which earned Douglas the Best Actor award at the Oscars; his co-star will reportedly be young star of the moment, Shia LeBeouf.
