Sargent Shriver and his daughter Maria Shriver hold a newly minted commemorative silver dollar coin honoring his wife and Maria Shriver???s mother, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, at the U.S. Mint in Philadelphia on Tuesday, May 2, 1995. The coin honors Eunice Shriver???s work with Special Olympics International, which she founded in 1968. 800,000 coins will be minted and sold for $33 with $10 from each coin going to support the 1995 Special Olympics World Summer Games to be held in Connecticut this July.
