Brigadier General Jay J. Morrow, uncle of Anne Morrow Lindbergh, who revealed that relatives of the Lindberghs have urged on them a definite plan for regaining their kidnapped baby and paying the ransom, March 11, 1932. General Morrow did not say whether Col. Lindbergh had adopted the proposed plan. The plan outlined included a well-known lawyer as the intermediary, with the kidnapers or their representatives, the lawyer to promise the payment and also safety for them. The baby would be placed with some family and the Lindbergh???s notified, later sending the money to a country designated where it could be collected. (AP Photo)
