The Pioneer Cemetery, located on old Fort Harrod Hill, is Kentucky's oldest cemetery, and a place to inspire interest and reverence. Many earlier stones are unmarked since the first settlers didn't have the tools with which to carve and later stones are marked, calling attention to interesting features such as this grave for the first white child buried in Kentucky. This photo is dated November 11, 1934. (AP Photo)
