Bruno Stiller, son of the inventor of the checkout counter in automated food stores, does the packaging at the unit set up for demonstrartion at the New York food store convention. This demonstration on July 19, 1956 is one of three methods of automation which will be used in new stores. When the shopper presents cards at the store, they are put into an electronic machine.
