The International Olympic Committee has praised the progress in construction of the athletes' village for the 2012 London Games. The IOC's coordination commission toured the village Thursday March 31, 2011, on the second day of its latest check on Olympic preparations. London's Olympic Delivery Authority said work on the first of the 11 residential complexes in the village has now been completed.
