China Overseas Engineering Group (COVEG) won the contract to build the 49,2 kilometer long highway at a much lower cost than the European companies. The Chinese company have said they will employ Polish workers to build these roads but it' s suspected by many that they will ship in cheap unskilled Chinese workers to do the job.
