Richard von Weizsacker (C), who was president of Germany from 1984 to 1994, participates in laying the foundation stone for a new museum dedicated to centuries of Jewish heritage in Poland 26 June 2007 in Warsaw. Polish authorities broke the ground today for the new museum in a country which until the Holocaust was home to the world's largest community of Jews. The ceremony at the site of the future Museum of the History of Polish Jews marks the near-culmination of a two-decade project to showcase 800 years of history. Others in picture are unidentified.
