The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland shared the first pictures ahead of penguin breeding season at Edinburgh Zoo. Keepers at the wildlife conservation charity placed the nest rings at the zoo's famous Penguins Rock earlier this week. Gentoo penguin pairs will now collect as many pebbles as possible, or pinch from other couples, for their nest rings, where the females will lay their eggs later this month. Members of the public can watch all of the pebble pinching antics on Edinburgh Zoo???s free live webcams at edinburghzoo.org.uk/penguincam.
