Thousands showed up to watch hundreds of Surfing Santas surf in downtown Cocoa Beach at the Christmas Eve Surfing Santas of Cocoa Beach event. It started in 2009 when George Trosset and his son went out surfing in Santa suits on Christmas Eve. The event grew bigger every year and is now of fundraiser for Grind for Life and the Florida Surf Museum.
