Members of the Hungarian Police stand guard at the main entrance of a Budapest's downtown house, beside a door with the logo of Hungarian Okotars Alapitvany (Okotars Foundation) on September 8, 2014. Two Hungarian non-governmental organisations suspected by the government of political bias were raided by police on suspicion of criminal financial activity, escalating a bitter feud over development aid from Norway. Detectives from Hungary's Central Investigations Office (NNI) and a dozen police turned up without prior notice to examine documents at two Budapest-based NGOs, Okotars Foundation and Demnet, that distribute grant aid to local civil groups from the Norwegian government.
