Alicia Silverstone (/ 09.06.2021): I want to talk about an amazing non-profit located in Los Angeles. @TheMarthaProjectLA focuses on how to use food as a way to connect and care for the houseless in our communities. An amazing woman named Nicole (who is hugely warm and has a beautiful, giving soul!) started it in honor of her grandmother, Martha Ann. Not only does she prep, cook, and deliver the food to these communities, but she organizes a group of kind humans to help volunteer to pack up plant-based food and deliver to those currently living without homes all across Los Angeles. Bear and I joined for one of the deliveries and we both had a very meaningful day. He was so eager to help and jump out of the van to deliver the food to those in need.
