The full disk of the sun imaged in the Hydrogen-alpha (Ha) wavelength of 656.28nm. Two sunspots are embedded in an active region (bottom center). Cooler filaments of are seen as streaks of darker gas across the disk as tenuous prominences outline the solar limb. Equipment Data: Coronado SolarMax .7 angstrom hydrogen-alpha filter; Tele Vue TV-102 telescope at 880mm focal length; Santa Barbara Instruments ST-2000XM camera. A single exposure of .008 second.
