The three Michelin stars awarded gourmet favorite Geranium has been named Denmark's best restaurant by the Danish version of the White Guide. Earlier this year Geranium also appeared on the first place in the Nordic version of the Guide. Run by star chef Rasmus Kofoed the restaurant in Parken Stadium has long been synonymous with world class food and since NOMA temporarily closed down it has been sole reigning on the Copenhagen gourmet scene. Second place went to the Faeroe Islands with the islands' first ever restaurant to receive a Michelin star, Koks. The Faeroese restaurant serves food with traditional roots in the setting of a private home.
