Artist James Wedge and make-up artist Amanda Sytner-Jackson spent two years looking for an affordable country home before buying this rundown 18th century Dorset farmhouse that no-one else wanted. The house needed a total overhaul but once that was completed Wedge set to work transforming the surrounding rough grassland into an idyllic country garden complete with parterre, a large and productive vegetable garden screened by a hedge, and a willow-shaded duck pond.
