Kinshasa, Congo - People watch television on a shipwreck they have converted into their home. The capital???s harbours resemble a ship graveyard, littered with shipwrecks and unfinished ships. The wrecks often hamper navigation. Some are home to squatters or homeless people. Others are inhabited at the owner???s request. They are guarded until the owner can sell them to an investor who can get them up and running again or who buys them for scrap. The inhabitants, who are grateful to have a roof above their head in overcrowded Kinshasa, have improvised a ???cite????? here, with bars and small shops.
