The cabbies came up with the signs - a mixture of the humorous and serious - as part of a survey by black cab app Hailo. In addition, those quizzed named the top ten signs currently in use that they believe should be scrapped - such as warnings about horse-drawn vehicles and migratory toads on roads. Nearly 600 London black cab drivers were asked about new ways of improving road safety. Regarding new road signs, the most popular idea was a 'Craters Ahead' warning to be put on badly potholed roads. Other suggestions included warnings about congestion near schools and pedestrians wearing headphones, a 'Caution Tourist Area' sign and a 'middle-aged men in lycra' zone.
