On March 22, 2021 Polish writer and screenwriter Jakub Zulczyk informed via social media that he was indicted for insulting Polish president Andrzej Duda. In November 2020 in a social media post Zulczyk called the president "a moron", after Duda was refusing to acknowledge the result of U.S. presidential elections. Polish Penal Code states that insulting the president can carry a sentence of up to three years, a fine or community service.
