(1/28/2017) Lalibela, Amhara region, Ethiopia. Ceremony of the coffee. One of Ethiopia's greatest pleasures is its cafe. The ceremony is a rite like tea in Japan. The ceremony is complicated and what I can tell you is that you start roasting coffee beans, then grind them in a wooden mortar and then put them in the hot water and the coffee is done. At the table you put the incense, sugar, cups and coffee and you can not even imagine how rich it is, nothing to do with what we drink in European coffee shops no matter how express.
