Beatrice Lespinasse, 57, kindergarten and elementary schoolteacher, married with three children, living in Droyes, northeast France, poses with her voting card on March 21, 2017 in her classroom in Montier-en-Der. What should be the priorities of the next French president? "(I want) a better view of the profession and a better salary. Today's teacher is something of everything: social worker, mother, teacher... when do we do our job? We have to deal with a whole set of issues, not just scholastic problems. The support system for dropouts has to be rebuilt. They should have cross-cultural specialists, remedial teachers and psychologists, but here I'm pretty much on my own and there's hardly any specialised training anymore. Real partnerships are needed because the school cannot exist on its own. If the young people are to succeed we have to give them a different outlook on the future." / AFP PHOTO / FRANCOIS NASCIMBENI / RESTRICTED TO EDITORIAL USE - RESTRICTED TO FRENCH ELECTIONS ILLUSTRATION PURPOSE
