Estherville Mesosiderite from Emmet County, Iowa. The metallic inclusions show the same Widmanstatten structure as in iron meteorites; the metal is discontinuous in a ground mass of silicate minerals (pyroxene and plagioclase). This meteorite fell on May 10, 1879.
